INFORMATION
Q: What is included in a weekly rental?
A: We include 1750 kilometres and insurance in our weekly rate on motorhome rentals. Extra kilometres are $0.25/km. We also provide KOA discount cards and directories.
Q: What if I don't know how to use the equipment?
A: We will go over the operation of the unit with you and make sure you are comfortable with it before your departure.
Q: What day can we pick up a unit?
A: We have both Friday and Saturday departures during July and August, but have departures any day during the other months. Tent trailers depart Friday, Saturday, and Monday.
Q: What time do I need to have the unit returned to your lot?
A: You need to return the unit by 10 am on return date.
Q: What time can I pick my unit up?
A: You can pick up units between 2 pm and 4 pm.
Q: What do you mean by the "high season"?
A: The high season is July and August, and the low season is all the other months. This applies to motorhomes only.
Q: Is a deposit required?
A: Yes. We require $113.00/week for a tent trailer, and $282.50 for motorhomes and travel trailers, or 10% the cost of the trip.
Q: Is a security deposit / deductible required?
A: We require $1000 for tent and travel trailers, $1500 for Class C motorhomes, and $2000 for Class A motorhomes.
Q: What is not included in the rental price?
A: The preparation and orientation fee ($95) [ does not apply to tent trailers], gasoline, and 13% tax are not included.
Q: Do I need a brake controller installed in my vehicle?
A: If you are renting a trailer that has electric brakes, a brake controller will be required. We do not supply these in the rental. Electric brakes are not on all models, call for details.
Q: How can I pay for my trip?
A: You can pay for your trip with cash, certified cheque, VISA, Mastercard, or American Express.
Q: Can I go away for a long weekend?
A: You can use the unit for 3 days, but you'll still have to rent it from us for a full 7 days regardless.
